Reminders:
·
December will be a month of COOPERATION meaning we work
together to complete tasks. There are
many opportunities while working with buddies and as tables to show cooperative
actions. We many let others take the
lead on a task or become a leader ourselves. We listen to what others have to
say and contribute thoughts of our own.
I am looking for a consistent cooperative student in December!
·
Please be on time to class each and every day. I pick up the students on the playground at
8:35 and we walk in ready to learn.
·
As a class we raised 108 cans. WOW! What a great feeling
knowing how considerate and giving our room 8 families are. As a school we were able to collect nearly
2,000 items!
·
Thank you, thank you and thank you for signing up to help
with holiday donations. Those small items add up but with a little help from
everyone we are going to make the next week pretty special as we travel the
world.
·
On Wednesday next week we will be having a holiday cookie
and movie party. We will be watching a winter classic and enjoying a cozy time
together. The cookie donations will be used then and enjoyed!
·
Only math and reading next week.
·
I would like to introduce you all to our spring student

traditions. The students will have some well-organized
lap books to take home at the end of the week.
Math
Adding and subtracting within 20 to wrap up Module 2. I
will be assessing the students on Wednesday.
Science
We will hold off switching until after first of the year
due to tradition studies.

From Africa to France to back home in the U.S.A. we will be
traveling the world to learn about the traditions that take place during this
time of year. Each destination will come
with Nat Geo. Kids website exploration,
a reading, a passport stamp and a craft or treat. Thank you again for the donations, with those
we are able to make each stop a fun one!
Meet Miss. Kelly!
Hello, my name is Kristina
Kelly and I am a senior at Northern Arizona University. I was born and raised
in San Diego, California. I want to teach because I honestly believe it is what
I’m meant to do. I couldn’t imagine doing anything else. I love working with
children and love the energy and creativity that they hold.
In my spare time I love to
travel! My mom is a flight attendant so we get free flights all over the world!
Just recently, my family and I took a vacation to Costa Rica. It was a blast!
I’ve traveled to 23 states and 15 countries. I also enjoy going to the beach.
While Arizona doesn’t have any beaches for me to visit, I can still enjoy my
second favorite hobby, skiing.
When I graduate from NAU I
hope to move to Utah to teach, while earning my Masters in Elementary Education
online. I’m excited to have my own classroom some day so that I can teach and
inspire children. I’m so excited to meet and get to know all of you!
Have a great weekend families!
-Ms. Reger
