Lots of updates this week!
·
We continue to work
on organized and honest actions at school.
·
My heart is so full,
all because of you! I sent out a message last week asking for some helping
hands at home to grade and check work. The outpour of “I can do it!” was so comforting.
I appreciate your help in every way, together this is a great place to live,
learn, and grow. Thank you room 19 parents!
·
The Valentine’s
class party is around the corner and I would like to ask for your help as we
prepare! Donations and signups will be due by February 8th so hop on
before then and sign up to celebrate with up!

A look at next week…
Spalding
We will continue to work in our
Spalding notebooks. As we write and mark we are working on letter formations as
well as consistent handwriting, ensuring that our books are uniform and neat.
Please be sure the books come to and from school daily. As we read and write in
class we are taking the time to recognize and implement our phonograms. Room 19 will be full of strong readers and
writers by the year end!
Reading
Next week we will be
reading a variety of short passages as we read fluently and work on
comprehension elements.
Math
A favorite unit will start
on Monday, the unit of graphing! Over the next couple of weeks we will analyze
and create bar and pictographs.
Social Studies
Our Egypt unit is coming to
an end as we read and build pyramids. We will also uncover our mummified apple!
Have a fun at the Franklin
Festival,
Ms. Reger
