Reminders:
·
Happy New Year! We
are off to a productive start in room 8! It was so nice to see all of our
students back to school and ready to learn.
·
January is our month
of ORGANIZATION! We are forming helpful habits as we put things back where they

Miss. Kelly and myself will be awarding one student at the end of the

The students LOVED reading our
snow story and we are beyond impressed with their use of prepositional phrases. What an impressive way to start the new
year. We will be creating our over and
under the snow mural. It will be on display
outside our classroom, please take a look when you can! Next week we will be
reading The Mitten by Jan Brett while focusing on problem, solution and
sequencing. The students will also have
a chance to perform in a reader’s theater activity!

adding and subtracting within 20. Module

forward to this hands on module.
