Save the Dates!
April 16th- Last day with Mrs. Rodriguez!
May 3-7- Devices at school all week.
A few notes:
We've enjoyed having Mrs. Rodriguez with us this semester. She holds many natural teaching tendencies and the students continued to grow in her hands. We appreciate her and will miss her but know she will be joining a local district for the 21-22 school year.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOME FUN PHOTOS! If you have a picture(s) of your child at the beach, in the desert, where it snows, and/or in the forest, please send them in! I would like to start a collage of pictures of us in our ecosystems of study!
Every student needs to bring charged devices on Fridays!

Practice those addition facts at home. Flash cards and computer games are helpful with this. We take addition and subtraction timed tests within 20 often in class. We are working on eff
A Look at Next Week:
ELA
We will continue with our ocean studies for a few more days as the students are completing their research project on an ocean animal. We will finish the week with our next ecosystem of study, the desert!
MATH
The students have done a great job telling time to the nearest half hour as they use the minute and hour hands appropriately. We will start our money unit as we identify coins and bills before we start counting money amounts. I have real and play money for the students or observe and count with throughout this unit!
SCIENCE
Let the science experiments begin! We will be using the scientific method as we discover what liquids help plants grow best. During the week we will be planting, watering, observing, and taking notes to find new information about plant life.
SOCIAL STUDIES
We are taking some time to focus heavily on science.
Thank you for reading and have a nice weekend!
Ms. Reger and Mrs. Rodriguez
