Weekly post following spring break!

Reminders:

o   Happy Spring Break Marshall Family! We hope you have a safe and happy break enjoying quality time with your loved ones.
o   To end off our week we did a really fun self-reflection activity. We talked about the things we admire and like about ourselves as well as the things we admire about our fellow classmates. We wrote the things that described us on the inside of the silhouette then the children walked around the room and added things they admired and liked about their classmates on the outside of their silhouettes. It was a really amazing activity to see them really critically thinking about the great things about themselves and others. They turned out so amazing we will be displaying these on our bulletin board for a while. Make sure you check them out!! Pictures are below.
o   As we just finished our bee unit, the week after spring break we will be sending home a new reading homework assignment, an “All About Bees” book to wrap everything up. If you can, work with your child to complete the report filled with facts, vocabulary, and the parts of the bee that they have learned throughout this unit. We hope with this project your student will feel confident and successful being we learned just about everything within this book! This non-fiction book project will be due Friday March 30th.
o   Coming back from break snacks will be Jordan and Josh! We look forward to healthy snack to fuel our brains!
o   We are out of markers and we are asking if you are able to bring in a box of 10 markers for our classroom that would be awesome!
