Week 6

Hello Families,

I would like to share as much information as possible to you all. I hope it does not cause confusion but offers clarity. Please read carefully as only certain details will apply to your child.

Monday will be here before we know it. Parents please check your email as I have sent placement information there.

MODIFIED IN PERSON INFORMATION:

My “A” Students I look forward to seeing you Monday/Thursday morning between 7:10-7:30 in room 6. FYI, there will be a story playing on our document camera, no structured lesson will take place at this time.

My “B” Students I look forward to seeing you Tuesday/Friday morning between 7:10-7:30 in room 6. FYI, there will be a story playing on our document camera, no structured lesson will take place at this time.

When students are not at school in our classroom they have school work to complete on our homepage under the day of the week buttons. Very similar to what we have been doing. This is to be done independently during those school days.

Check our homepage Friday afternoon for an updated schedule!

Come Monday/ Tuesday be sure your child is prepared with the following items for school:

A box of crayons

Scissors

Eraser

4 sharpened pencils

Highlighter or box of markers

2 glue sticks

A labeled 9x 12 baggie or Crayon box to hold items

Student Device

Device Charger

Headphones (if you have them)

School supplies will be left at school, devices will be brought to and from.

REMOTE LEARNING INFORMATION:

Our remote learning students will learn online with Mrs. Burns or Mrs. Alfonso. The dashboard should update and switch to that class by Monday morning.

REMINDERS FOR ALL:

As we move forward with this new learning model please check your emails frequently. Teachers will be in communication over these next couple of days.  There will be important information shared in this way until we are connected in a new Class Dojo set up.

I ask for patience and kindness for all of our teachers, staff, and administration professionals. We are doing the very best we can during this transition.

It has been a pleasure to be your child’s first grade teacher so far. Many of you I will see in person and others will continue to learn in such an exciting learning environment with Mrs. Burns, Mrs. Alfonso and/or Mrs. Noble.  The days spent online together have been happy, successful, and overall really fun!

Thank you for reading and doing the very best you can. I am here for you! I will see students tomorrow morning at 8:15 for a fabulous Friday!
